Catherine R. Cress is an Estate Administration Paralegal with impressive experience in Estate and Trust Administration matters. With 20 years in the field, Catherine brings a deep understanding and passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of estate matters.

Catherine found her way into estate law through personal experience. When her own parents passed, she served as the Executrix of their estates. She handled this responsibility so capably that the attorney overseeing the matters encouraged her to join his firm. What started as a personal undertaking became the launching point for her professional career.

Though she initially studied biology at Wake Forest University, Catherine’s path eventually led her to a career in estate law – a field she says marries her love of “ologies” like genealogy and archaeology with her talent for organization. Catherine continually strives to make the estate process as seamless as possible for clients. With her knack for orderliness, she takes pride in providing families peace of mind through her work.

When not at the office, Catherine tends to her garden and indulges her wide-ranging interests in fields like genealogy, archaeology, history, and the broader “ologies” – pastimes that complement her life’s work.
